Update; went to buy 4 bottles of tussin yesterday and the cashier told me that "in the near future" they're going to start limiting customers to three DXM containing items per 3 weeks. I'm assuming they'll track this with either just a name and a birthdate or possibly even your drivers license #, they're already doing it with the CCCs sold behind the counter at the pharmacy. Apparently its supposed to affect all of the major drug store chains which would imply its a state/higher government funded deal.

Yep, and anyways only an arrogant cough syrup junkie would pick the next leader of the free world based upon a cough syrup law meant to reduce harm caused by teen OTC drug abuse. I know that Obama is the better pick as far as reform of drug laws go. McCain has said that he will NEVER legalize MEDICAL marijuana, let alone for recreational use...to quote him he said "There are better ways to kill pain".. obviously he has no idea what medical marijuana is even used for. Of course opiates are better for pain killing, but he is completely not taking into consideration marijuana's profound anti-emetic and appetite stimulating effects that are far more profound than any pharm alternative, not to mention safer. Also, marijuana does relieve pain, all while being pretty much physically benign, while opiates on the other hand are horribly physically and psychologically addictive. You really think McCain cares about your DXM habit? He will sooner put you behind bars for it than support it. Biden is the least of your worries. Obama said during the debate that he wants to deal with drug traffiking because it funds terrorists, and he also said he wants to go through the whole list of government programs and ELIMINATE THOSE THAT DONT WORK. I can think of one really big one that does not work right off the top of my head. Vote for Obama. |

If i was in a swing state i'd vote obama but i decided to vote nadar to clear my druggie conscious plus he is pretty badass. stupid 2 party system |
