Some cold medicines are being pulled from the shelves of a local grocery chain. It's all part of an effort to keep kids from getting high on cough syrup.
That's Giant's goal as the supermarket chain changes the way you can get access to certain cough and cold medications. Ewa Roman explains what kind of changes you can expect to see at the grocery store. All of the clerks at the Giant stores across Pennsylvania are ready for the change. It's being rolled out this Sunday. It'll require you to show an ID or go to the pharmacy if you want to buy certain types of cough and cold medications.
