Roundup: Decongestant Ingredient Could Be Dangerous; Caffeine Withdrawal; Low-Glycemic Diets
Pseudoephedrine Linked To Heart Attack POSTED: 7:59 pm EST November 23, 2004 UPDATED: 8:18 pm EST November 23, 2004 An ingredient found in some popular cold medications could increase your risk of heart attack or stroke, even in a young, healthy person. Over-the-counter cold remedies like Sudafed, Robitussin DM and other decongestants contain pseudoephedrine. A 32-year-old man recently became the fifth person to be treated for chest pain and other cardiac symptoms after taking the recommended dose of a decongestant. Pseudoephedrine is similar to ephedrine, which was recently banned by the Food and Drug Administration because of similar side effects. Link Here: http://www.nbc10.com/health/3945256/detail.html |

If people are having these side effects on the recommended dose....imagine what a hypermedical dose, like one needed to trip on a DXM product containing this, can do.
DXM only !!! Opioid users: Please check out both Opioficionado and Opiophile, harm reduction forums for opioids. "It hjas oh sthi my ex wfe" -Bhikku "The religion of one age is the literary entertainment of the next." -Ralph Waldo Emerson |
